Blessed Brother Sirvante, On: Coming To Terms With Self!

Where do we go to find the better part of Me!  And how do we define truth within ourselves?  Is righteousness really an internal subjective state.  Or is it infact applicable equally to the exterior positions of our understandings as well.  Can we really come to terms with self without first coming to terms with the positions that are proffered against us.  Or must we first be the bearer of extenuated pain before we can see the simplicity of an interior view.  As it's brought forth through the cognizance of our souls.  I like to think that true peace comes from within the heart.  So logically you can conclude that, that's where self exist!  What is on your heart?  Where are your passions, hopes, and dreams?  How do we come to understanding?  and where do we go when we really want to find the better part of self.  We think within the recesses of our minds.  But come to terms with life from the emotions of the heart.  Coming to God is one of a very personal point of view.  Because it opens the door to allow you to begin the process of coming to terms with self! There's a saying that I recall rings ecqo clear in my mind.  And that is, you can't hide from yourself;  And you can't hide from God!  The journey of life must first begin from within.  Because true sight is not necessarily a readily visible thing.  We must first invision our destiny before we can be sure our journey will be sound.  I hear the call of placement in my soul.  And feel the love of life in my bones.  And pray my heart keeps me to right. And always look to God as a corrector of my ways!  As man we will always be fouleble.  It is the core of our nature.  But as humans we have the infinite capacity to mend the error of our ways.  And find forgiveness in the heart.  This journey we're on, this thing we call life.  Well, it turns out really isn't about self at all.  It is about the containment of presence as revealed through the light of Father God!  And in his spirit you will find the truth of self! For that is where the true journey in life begins!  And that is where the fullness of self can be realized, as contained within the spirit of God!

Blessed Brother Sirvante, On: The Elements Of Understanding!

Have you ever been in one of those positions where you just try, and try to explain yourself;  but for some reason the person you're trying to explain yourself to just doesn't seem to get it!  It can be exhausting, confusing, troubling, irritating, and even upsetting at times.  Depending on the nature of what the misunderstanding may, or may not be about.  Sometimes these discussions can become so deep and protracted out that you might even begin to wonder if maybe somebody is just playing with your intelligence. You reach for containment in the better part of valor, only to discover that perhaps your opposition doesn't have any honor, or dignity to attach your valor to!  In matters of consternation and disapproval of a clear swipe to the left of your sensibilities.  It becomes important to understand that one person's viewpoint may not always be mutually attainable in equitable dispositioning.  And it may not have anything to do with the rationality of your comprehensions.  Sometimes things are just born into adversity.  And sometimes adversity steals the high road on the better part of valor.  And indignity becomes a byproduct of the road less traveled. Should we not seek for peace in the confusion of a dilapidated state.  And should we not turn to reason when understanding passes by?  These are all questions that come to mind when we seek to middle ground.  And these are all thoughts in the elements of confusion.  So where do we draw the line in the attainability of the right to good.   And how do we come to agreement in the discombobulation of the mind as expressed from the inner feelings of the heart?  Can two thoughts intersect in the harmony of the real without disproportionality becoming the greater friend?  Is union based on the collapsibility of instinct?  Do we naturally come to the placement of self?  Or is all evolution contained within the extrapolation of being?  I know in my heart to give is good! Yet to receive can be a very pleasant experience as well.  Depending on what you're getting, and who's extending the hand.  We like to think that all exchange can be resolved  to the point of most favor.  But in truth that's not always the case.  So we must often times learn to make peace with opposition.  And in doing so learn to love the peace that is naturally contained within ourselves. If only we were to take the time to seek first understanding from an interior relevancy point of view, before we extenuated the truth of the relevancy of self.  I should think that most arguments, or misunderstandings as it were, would then take on the persona of a resolute presentation worthy of a predisposed positioning.  Solving most issues before they arise to the level of desconbogilation.  And enhance our overall enjoyment of mutual engagement for resolution in communication of will.  I find harmony to best be expressed in the spirit of right. As brought forward in truth to the conclusion of achievement.  In the words of Jesus Christ, "Love thy neighbor as thyself.  And trust in the Lord to make all things right!"  Thereby bringing peace to your spirit;  and understanding to your life!

Blessed Brother Sirvante, On: An Encounter of Faith!

As we go through life and become confronted with many obstructions.  We sometimes find ourselves asking why and become puzzled as we query for the answer.  Life is a series of if's, and maybe's; even could of's, and should of's, if you will.  So many times we find ourselves running for space even as we're running out of room.  And then we wonder which is the better part of deference for the greater part of will.  Is there hope for a futuristic presentation that has sustenance of relevant sustaining value.  Do we guide our paths by the light that has already past.  Can hope be conjured up in the measure of a thought?  Is traveling the distance really worthy of the journey sought?  Can our fondest desires be consumed in the presentation of the presence.   Must we first become what will, before we can be what we are?  So many decisions to be made in a direction less focused.  And so much time to value the extenuation of agreement.  I like to think that if something matters, it's a given that it be worthy of acceptance.  But if you live long enough you come to realize that, that's generally not the case.  At least not in the outset of the aggregation anyway.  Nor the entry point thereof to the better part of will.  Sunshine on fresh flowers are pretty in the spring.  But in the heat of summer their hopes become quite wilted!  And yet they persevere on, because that's what flowers are basically intended to do.  A person could learn allot from flowers; particularly the rose!  It's so pretty it's easy to forget how prickly it can be.  And when it sticks you, you often wonder how come there wasn't a sign or something that said, handle with care!  Life can get a little bit prickly too! So we should always remember to handle it with care as well.  If you plan on going the distance, make sure your shoes are tied good first.  I've never seen a runner win a race with shoe strings caught up in their ankles.  I'm one of those the glass is half full kinda guys.  So I like to think that no matter how complicated things might get, it all comes out in the wash.  Therefore it all works out in the end.  I'm also like one of those silent screen movie actors too, that made the transition to talkies. I like to think my profile is pretty good.  But I find communication is even better.  It's like that old saying, a closed mouth don't get fed.  But really Jesus Christ said it best, " Faith without works is dead!" Now I think I'm going to go pour me a cup of tea, because I have some more work to do.  I like my tea best with honey and a pinch of lemon. Even though sugar is fine too.  The results can still be pretty much the same depending on your perspective.  Life can be pretty sweet!   But there is nothing sweeter to me than life with God!  Because, there is where I come home to my true measure of faith!

Blessed Brother Sirvante, On: The Predictability of Perception!

Gut instincts! We often her that phrase bantered around here and there.  You hear it in sports allot, and in business too.  And if you have insight you try to take it in and discern it to your benefit.  But what is gut instinct really?  In truth it comes down to perception.  What it is we see or feel about any given subject or matter.  It's all in the eyes......or is it really?  I think true perception can really best be defined as an emotional state.  Something that just kind of takes over our body and then hits us right in the gut!  And then translates to our brain. Like a big stop sign that reads, don't do it! or, full speed ahead;  depending on any given worst, best situation you may, or may not be in. That's why people who are really in tuned with themselves can generally see life pretty clearly.  And the funny thing I've noticed about perception too is it's not necessary society entitled.  In other words money doesn't make you smart.  In fact I've seen it often times make people pretty stupid!  One of the favorite things I like to say is, I think it so, so therefore I am!  And in allot of ways I believe that.  I've seen more done on hope and prayer then some of the best laid plans for success could ever hope to achieve.  And I've seen more people cross doors in faith then any bull doser could ever conquer.  I believe in walking in your own strength.  And I believe that strength should iminate from God! One never knows when you just might come across the misfortune of right.  And one never knows when your best laid desires prove to be the deception of others.  Truth can sometimes be a very peculiar thing.  And understanding it can even be worse.  But sometimes truth can be defined as a necessary evil.  At least some people think so anyway.  And they get up every day with that on their hearts.  That's where perception comes in.  If you know something to be untrue, or not settle well, based on past experiences.  Then the onus is on you to go with your gut instinct.  Because once wronged, twice she!  As it should be.  Because no one should ever have to be subjected to being someones punching bag; or the butt end of a not so funny joke that someone was dead serious about.  Life was meant to be enjoyed; taken in fully!  And suckled for all the beauty of it's worth.  No one should ever be allowed to tell you different. And show you even worse the same.  I believe in a substantiated character.  And truth that carry's it's own weight.  I don't need someone to try and shovel it down my throat.  It'll generally stand on it's own pretty well.  Which will then bring out the merits of it's reality. Thereby giving you the ability to discern the predictability of the perception.  Which in turn will help you keep your path aright!

Blessed Brother Sirvante, On: The Odyssey of Presence!

I feel it to be so!  Therefore I am, because it is so.  What is presence?  And how do we measure it's depths.  Where do we go to come to it's understanding.  Or, are we already there in the depths of our mind.  I like people to know my goodness, so I always try to put that foot forward first.  I like people to know I am compassionate;  so no matter what the situation is I always try to understand.  But of course that's my own perception of self.  Some people think I can sometimes be a little disrespectful, or crass as it were.  Which I find ludicrous of course.  I think it's disingenuous of them to think that.  Because I live by the creed of, always treat people like you want to be treated.  But when I do get upset about a matter that I feel isn't right.  I can be pretty forceful about my opinion.   And I wouldn't want to be on the other side of that.  I know it can't be pleasant.  And heaven forbid I view it as a necessary evil to get across a valid point. But sometimes it seems like people just egg you on right to the limit.  Just to see if you will brake.  Well I'm not perfect, and nothing is, save for God!  So sometimes I do!  And then I wonder what's it all really for.   And is the fight really worth it.  Well apparently somebody thought so, or they wouldn't of picked it.  Which brings me to another point about presence.  We're only as good as the reality we project.  So the logic is if you feed on negativity, then that's what comes back to you.  However, the reality is I've known very good people get consumed in a whole lot of ugly because of the people they are surrounded by.  And it doesn't have anything to do with the goodness of their character at all.  Yet they become tarnished just the same.  And sometimes they have to fight for what they believe in when it should be plainly obvious that their cause is most worthy.  Cynicism is a form of presence too!  And there seems to be allot of that going around lately as well.  I mean look at the mess in Washington.  You'd think that a bunch of highly educated people could at some point figure out how to do their jobs smoothly.  But in over two hundred plus years they still can't get it right.  For some reason they don't want to mess up the appearance  of their toughness.  Now that's some fancy journey into nowhere.  Because at the end of the day they all appear to be the best of friends.  It would be hard for me to be that phony everyday!  Yet people do it all the time; even in our everyday lives.   Now who wants to pick a fight!  Because I'm putting my boots on.  But it's not to kick anybody! Or kick anything around for that matter.  I'm thinking maybe I just might take a nice hike on some scenic trail to think about it.  The odyssey of presence that is! Because I find I do my best thinking in the wide open air of free space.   And life has taught me that some fights are best left to God.  So I like to be out in the truth of all the greatness of His vision.  It connects me to the true strength of His power.  Which is the beauty of His presence.   As we become one with each other! and one with one another.  All through the allotted graces of God!  One should never forget that as we get up each day to walk in this created thing of ours we call, presence!  Some people think it's like a magnet.  Others think it's like a hook.  I'm not sure what to think. I just try to walk in the strength of my own presence.  Guided by the love of Jesus!  Embraced in the love of God!

Blessed Brother Sirvante, On: Trusting in Faith!

Have you ever had one of those days when nothing seems to go right?  The kids skip school;  the dog ran away;  and your car won't start for work!  Fortunately for me my kids are grown and gone out of the house.  I don't own a dog.  And my work consist of building this ministry, which I primarily do from home!  But I do remember well many days like those!  Life is kinda funny though sometimes.  Because it never really gives you any true rest.  Old concerns are replaced with new ones.  And new problems always seem to have a funny way of taking on their own life form.  Some days I struggle just to get out of bed.  And then spend have the morning wondering why?  By then I'm behind the clock, so I start to wonder what I should be doing productive for the day.  That's when I realize half the day is over!  So then I sit around and try to get back ahead of the lapse by figuring out what I'm going to do for the second half of the day.  Because half a day well spent is better then a day not spent at all.  Purpose in life is key to success!  But success is often times not measured in terms of achievement, believe it or not!  Because allot of people really don't understand the true meaning of success.  They're often times too busy trying to have it all!  So they never really have an opportunity to know how good it feels.  Truly successful people will tell you they have nothing but time on their hands.  And the real trick is how you manage it!  Unlike what most people like to think, success is really just peace of mind!  It's not having to worry about the everyday trivialities of existence.   And having a firm grasp of how you choose to exist.   I like to keep my success simple.   It makes it easy to keep a track of.  I try to do something kind everyday.  That way it just becomes part of my natural character;  and I don't have to think about it.   I always try to put my best foot forward whenever possible too.  Because the truth is first impressions really do matter.  And if you can make them twice all the better.   It helps let people know that they matter to you.  And the caveat is, with hope and faith, you'll begin to matter to them as well.  Which really makes for a perfect day.  No matter what side of the bed you get up on!  If I can get in a good prayer, then I know I've had a perfect day.  Because I know in faith God will take care of the rest.  So by that standard I like to think I'm pretty successful.  Because it only takes a minute to Pray!

Blessed Brother Sirvante, On: Pillow Talk!

Have you ever had one of those days when you just wake up and wonder what it's all for?  I've been having allot of those days lately.   I mean on the surface things seem relatively alright.  But as I look around and try to understand the world a bit.  And the logic for why people do what they do.  I come to realize that even in the simplest of lives there can sometimes be a great deal of confusion.  I often used to pride myself on being able to figure things out relatively quickly.  Now I often sit around and kinda wonder what it is I'm trying to figure out.  I mean at 51, I'm past saving the world thoughts.  And I no longer have any great illusions of fantastic wealth.   The things I ponder mostly today are the things that really don't seem that important in the bigger scheme of things, relative to an individuals every day living.  Yet the thoughts of what go's through my mind somehow seem very important just the same.  You know a person can go their whole lives and never really understand what it's for.  I've gone at least half mine and I'm still not sure.  I mean I'm sure of my convictions, and what it is I believe in.  Sometimes I'm just not sure of the point of it all.  We all make such a big deal of the things we think are important.  And cling desperately to the things we don't want to lose.  As if the world will come to an end if we don't. When in truth, most people probably don't even care!  So what are we fighting for anyway?  And why?  I like to think that at the end of the day, if I do the right thing I can lay my head down on my pillow at night and sleep in peace.  And that in truth is a real blessing;  the pillow that is.  Because when I go to sleep at night I realize that there are many people around the world who don't have one!  Yet somehow peace always seems to elude me.  And not for any real good cause; or maybe for a great cause.  I still have to sleep on it!  I guess it depends on your perspective.  And how you choose to view the world relative to your own existence.  Maybe that's why I take so much enjoyment in my pillow.  It helps cushion the blow of the reality of life. Which I've come to conclude is generally not fair. Yet we all have to live it.  I'm a man of God.  And I've become a man of prayer!  Believe it or not one is not synonymous with the other.  Hoping in prayer gives me even more peace than sleep!  I just as soon while away my day as such.  Evenings to for that matter.  Just thinking on good things for the good of all.  And leaning on God to do it! Because people often let you down.  And allot of times we let ourselves down too.   So the silver lining really is with God, for the love of Jesus!  And that's where I put my hope, trust, and faith!  It seems to me like the right place for it to be.  Life has taught me that when man fails you, God won't.   It's a sad reality, yet wonderful just the same.  Imagine that!
Bless you all in the name of Jesus!  Blessed Brother Sirvante.
